Teeter EP-560 – A Comprehensive Review

Dealing with bodily pain is never easy!

Especially when it comes from herniated disc, sciatica, and other forms of muscle spasms.

These are long term complications that, unfortunately, can only be kept in check using modern medications.

Luckily, there’s still some hope left in physiotherapeutic and orthopedic procedures. And, nowadays you’ll find a wide array of physiotherapeutic devices online that can help deal with the pain.

But, since online marketplaces are a playground for scammers as well, you can’t just buy anything that catches your fancy.

Teeter EP 560

One therapeutic device that has gained a lot of popularity is the Teeter Hang Ups EP-560 Inversion Table. Many are even calling it the perfect equipment to reduce back muscle aches.

But does it really work as well as it sounds?

Thanks to my slipped disk situation, I’ve had enough pain and enough experiences of trying such devices out.

Teeter EP-560 Features

The Teeter EP-560 is claimed to be the only inversion table that is registered by the FDA. You can use this table for both inversion therapy and core workouts.

The standout features for the equipment are:

  • It features 8 acupressure nodes at different heights for “trigger-point relief” and “focused relief.”
  • The lumbar bridge on the table comes with an adjustable arch for “added traction” and “support.”
  • It includes the brand’s “patented wrap-around ankle cups” for an ergonomic and snug fit.
  • The bed flexes of the apparatus are strategically contoured for comfort, including an “optimize stretch” feature providing “maximum relief.”
  • It features a “precision rotation” for absolute user control.

I have been using this table for over 4 months now, and I have, in all honesty, never been better in my condition.

This inversion table comes with all one could expect from a standard inversion table...and then some more.

1. Performance

When I tested this Teeter for the first time, I remember being highly impressed with the kind of comfort and efficiency it gave me.

With an entirely customizable support, it gives you all the ease and comfort you need to confidently workout.

With 8 acupressure nodes strategically placed to hit all pressure-points, the table delivers focused and trigger release massages to activate these points, putting the entire body to rest.

This calms the pressure points and nerves on my lower back and spine, relieving the area of muscular tension.

2. Functions

The EP-560 works efficiently to alleviate severe complications of the muscles and spinal column.

It comes with an adjustable arch in its lumbar bridge that offers support, and also provides additional traction and support throughout a workout. The bed flexes on the table are contoured for snugly fitting your unique form for maximum comfort and relief.

The optimize stretch lets you confidently go the entire length to stretch the painful muscles out. The patented ComforTrack Bed and Frame also provides you with the benefit of the decompression option, which is one of my absolute favorites!

The signature “wrap-around ankle cups” firmly holds form around your legs, even under immense workout pressure.

The Precision Control allows you to control the form and functionality of frame, delivering security and ease of movement.

3. Durability and design

The Teeter EP-560 is certainly one of the best designed apparatuses in the league of all other inversion tables. Its overall frame design is durable, preventing any risk of accidents even in the slightest.

This is because it’s made of heat-treated carbon steel, featuring auto-locking hinges and unique anti-squeak pivot bearings.

I love how it comes almost assembled, and the other parts go on quite easily with no hassles in setup. It took me about 15 minutes to set the table up and adjust the height and weight before going on it.

It can sustain a maximum weight of 300 pounds and a height range between 4’8”- 6’6”.

4. Safety

All of Teeter inversion tables are tested and certified by UL which is an “independent product safety certification organization.” That ensures that the product meets each and every safety requirements before getting it out in the market.

Teeter also collaborates with several doctors, chiropractors, athletes, engineers, and regular users to bring all the upgrades on their existing system. This ensures better protection and rigorous measures for consumers safety.

The Flex Technology makes it the ideal device that lets you freely work out hanging upside down on it, without the fear of breaking your neck.

The Teeter EP-560 comes with a whopping 5-years extensive warranty, covering repairs of all its components!

5. Uniqueness

The EP-560 is undoubtedly an inversion table like no other common ones. I love the user-friendly approach and mechanism of its system that lets me work out in peace without worrying about accidents! No hassles; no nothing!

What could have been better?

Even though this table can be stored neatly anywhere in the house, it is a heavy and cumbersome equipment to carry or move around. I only wish I could maneuver it as easily as I can set it up or adjust the settings.

Also, unlike a few other costlier models, it doesn’t have an extended ankle system. This can be a bit of an issue for those who may find it difficult to bend over to reach their ankles.

But apart from this, the Teeter EP-560 is definitely an all-rounder when it comes to features and comfort.

Conclusion

So this was all about my experience with the EP-560 model that helped immensely with my medical condition and work-outs in general. I hope you were able to get valuable insight into the functioning of this machine.

Thanks for reading. Take care!
