Trying to find the right piece of exercise equipment for use in a home gym can be hard. There are so many options available, not to mention the different needs and capabilities of the people that will be using it, but what if there was an easier way?
What if there was one piece of equipment that was as high-end as a piece of gym kit but affordable enough to use at home? And what if that same piece of equipment was suitable for use by all ability levels, even those with mobility issues or who suffer from joint pain?
What if on top of all of that it also boasted enough calorie-burning potential to help any user burn calories and support their weight loss goals?
Well, I may have just found one and in this article, I am going to take a closer look at the Teeter FreeStep Recumbent Cross Training and Elliptical Machine to see just how good it is and see if it really does have what it takes to warrant a place in your home gym.
What is the Teeter FreeStep?
The Teeter FreeStep recumbent CrossTrainer and Elliptical machine combines features from some of the most popular exercise machines around, allowing users to enjoy a total-body, calorie-burning training session without putting strain on their joints or neglecting a muscle group.
Teeter has made the machine with commercial-grade engineering and designed with comfort, posture, and mobility in mind the FreeStep brings the potential of a high-end gym based piece of equipment into the home.
Features
What I liked
Although there are many positives to the Teeter FreeStep, what I like the most is the high-calorie burning potential of the FreeStep. Using dual-power action you can enjoy a true total-body workout, helping to burn more calories, at a faster rate, and support greater fat loss all whilst being supported in a comfortable position with reduced stress on the joints.
This makes using the FreeStep even more powerful as users can achieve a greater calorie burn, in less time, without adding extra fatigue to the muscles.
What I didn’t like
Although the FreeStep is designed with an easy-to-read digital console and a stand to hold any phones or tablets, I feel a slightly higher position would have been more favorable. It’s not a dealbreaker and won't ruin your enjoyment of the Teeter FreeStep, especially as with whisper-quiet features you could watch TV whilst exercising, however, I just felt that having a better position to hold devices would be a slight upgrade for the workout.
Our final thoughts
When looking for home exercise machines there are a few things that should be considered and comfort, accessibility, and calorie-burning potential are certainly on the list. Luckily the Teeter FreeStep has all three.
Combining the best features from traditional machines, the Teeter FreeStep Recumbent Cross Trainer and Elliptical takes care of everything, helping users of all abilities to enjoy a total-body workout, without adding extra stress to the body and all whilst being supported and feeling comfortable.
Burning calories at a higher rate, when compared to normal recumbent bikes, is also a huge bonus as that can ultimately help with anyone that is exercising for weight loss. Ideal low impact exercise equipment for seniors looking to burn calories.
The Teeter FreeStep doses many things and with a premium design and high-end feel to the machine, I would absolutely recommend the Teeter FreeStep for use in your home.
